Retail Sales Associate - Mexico Maine Location

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, customer focused, full-time retail sales associate to join our team at our Mexico, Maine location. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer focused attitude.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this position provides prompt, courteous service to customers in the store and on the phone, processes sales, returns, payments to accounts, and maintains the store appearance and merchandising. This position will have specific retail sales focus and will require cooperation with all supervisory staff, delivery drivers, and store personnel.

Yard Attendant/CDL Boom Operator - Stillwater Maine

We are seeking a reliable Yard Attendant/CDL Driver and Boom Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer focused attitude.

This role provides prompt, courteous service to customers in the yard by assisting in the selection and loading of materials. The Yard Attendant/CDL Driver and Boom Operator also builds, stages, and delivers materials at the direction of the Yard Foreman or Store Manager. This position will require cooperation with all supervisory staff, other delivery drivers, and store personnel. This position reports to the Store Manager. We are hiring for our Stillwater, Maine location. Hourly pay based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies and safety standards.
Assist pick-up customers in the yard in a prompt, professional manner.
Ability to drive all company vehicles: forklifts, pickup trucks, box trucks, flat-beds, Moffit's, and Boom trucks.
Pick quality merchandise for delivery customers and build delivery loads.
Perform vehicle safety inspections, daily pre and post trip.
Load or inspects loads to ensure no unsafe vehicle leaves the yard.
Checks load for picking accuracy and corrects errors as needed.
Unloads product to customer expectation by following written directions and instructions and by verbal communication on the job site.
Contribute efforts to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work space.
Reports damage to equipment, inventory, or property to immediate supervisor the day it occurs.
Perform tasks deemed necessary by supervisory staff.

Requirements:

Possess a valid state class A or B driver’s license with a clean driving record for 3 years.
Ability to respond to hazards while driving.
Ability to read, understand, and act upon written language.
Ability to perform basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to repeatedly lift objects up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist repeatedly throughout the workday with or without accommodations.

Work closely with the sales teams at all locations, warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
Perform tasks deemed necessary by supervisory staff.

Requirements:
Experience in inside sales, preferably within the building supply or related industry.
Strong understanding of building materials, construction products, and industry terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
